KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C.  — In the wake of the current censure proceedings underway against City Council Member Scott Neisler, that could reportedly cost the city as much as $20,000, new alleged accusations have been brought to the council's attention and will be addressed tonight during a special-called meeting for TUESDAY May 12, 2026.


According to the agenda, the meeting will cover three areas of concern:



A ). Motion to investigate a Complaint filed by Councilmember Scott Neisler against Mayor Robert Wagman regarding a possible violation of the City Council Code of Ethic Policy - Mickey Corry, City Attorney.


B ). Motion to investigate a Complaint filed by Councilmember Scott Neisler against Councilmember Jimmy West regarding a possible violation of the City Council Code of Ethic Policy - Mickey Corry, City Attorney.


C ). Motion to adopt a Resolution to receive an Offer to Purchase from Cleveland County Habitat for Humanity for City-owned property located on Myers Street and known as Cleveland County parcels 8460, 13347, 44093 and 8450 and begin the upset bid process - Henry Earle, Asst. City Manager.
