Jackie Dean Boone, a cherished member of the Cleveland County community, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on April 5, 1946, in Cleveland County, Jackie lived a life marked by dedication, love, and an unwavering commitment to family.

Jackie spent his professional career as a diligent packer in the Mill industries, where he worked tirelessly to provide for his family and contribute to the local economy. His colleagues remember him as a hardworking and reliable figure, someone who could always be counted on to lend a helping hand and share a warm smile.

While Jackie's work life was commendable, it was with his family that he found true joy and fulfillment. He treasured every moment spent with his loved ones, creating countless memories that they will carry with them forever. His gentle spirit and kind heart left an indelible mark on everyone he met.

Jackie is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Martha Boone; his beloved wife, Bonnie Boone; his brothers, Jerry and Michael Boone; and his nephew, Rick.

He is survived by his stepdaughter Nita Camp; his sister, Linda Joy; his special nephew, Chris Joy; and his cousin, Sid Carpenter , Grandchildren Josh Camp(Ann Marie) and Jamie Camp(Laura) Great Grandchildren, Jordyn, Madyson, Grace, Caleb and Chloe. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

As we gather to celebrate Jackie's life, we are reminded of the simple yet profound impact of a life well-lived. His legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire those who knew him.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at Kings Mountain Cemetery, where Jackie will be laid to rest. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring a man whose life touched so many others.

In remembering Jackie Dean Boone, we are reminded that a life filled with love and family leaves a legacy that time cannot erase. His gentle soul will forever remain in our hearts.
