Fatal accident south of Broad River, near S.C.

UPDATED: 12:56 p.m. Monday. A single vehicle accident Sunday night resulted in the death of a Mooresboro man, near Camp Creek Church Rd on Abe's Mountain Rd.
First Sgt. J.R. Crotts, with the North Carolina highway Patrol stated to The Shelby Independent, "The driver was operating a Subaru sedan, which ran off to the left of the road, struck several trees and overturned."
The driver was identified as David Richard Hartman, 62, of Mooresboro.
While no known factors were attributed to the single vehicle crash Sunday night, First Sgt. Crotts said the accident is still under investigation at this time.

An accident Sunday night has resulted in a fatality near Camp Creek Church Rd on Abe's Mountain Rd near the 150 connection south of Boiling Springs.
Clayton Campbell of State Line News and Scanner first posted of the accident around 8:45 p.m. Sunday night. Reports of traffic being backed up to the bridge. Fatality confirmed.
