Two arrested in Lawndale drug bust

Two people were arrested and a drug house was shut down Tuesday, according to the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Department.


On July 15, the Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic disturbance call at 133 Gold St., Lawndale.


Deputies arrived on scene which resulted in the seizure of 487 grams of marijuana, over 102 grams of cocaine, almost four grams of crack cocaine, and two handguns.

Chancelor Ireek Bradshaw was arrested on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver Marijuana and trafficking in cocaine.

Another person, Jurniey Iy’Lizabeth Miller was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver Marijuana.


A statement released by the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office, said, “The teamwork demonstrated by the patrol division, criminal interdiction team, and narcotics division lead to the arrest and closure of a drug house within the jurisdiction of Cleveland County.”


A warning against other drug activity was added to the end, stating, “Drug activity will not be tolerated and enforcement action will be taken to prosecute any drug dealer within the county to the fullest extent of the law.”
