Thanksgiving curiosity

Here’s my curiosity at the moment:
With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, ovens all across the country will be used more than usual all on the same day.
Some people cook all the time and some ovens only see action on the holidays, but my question is - What’s the deal with the oven light?
I cooked fries last night and was thinking, “What’s the deal with the light in the oven?”
How does that get changed when it does burn out, if at all?
It doesn’t.
When it does burn out it’s either right after you buy the oven or when it’s real old, but nobody ever changes their oven light... you just keep using it as it is. It never gets replaced because it’s built into the wall of the oven now - it’s not easy to replace; if it was you’d have done so 3 years ago.
My curiosity about this is... why does it hardly ever burn out after 20 years of constant use, but a light bulb in the ceiling doesn’t last 6 months?
You open the oven door. You close the door. Open the door, and close the door... Over and over and it never goes out - but I turn on a lamp that I haven’t used for a couple month and it pops and burns out.
How is that possible?
Why can’t I get oven light quality for my lights throughout my house in the ceilings and lamps?
Even those “long life” light bulbs never last like they say.
Right now I’m opening my oven door and closing it again - this light won’t burn out. It never will.
Eh... Whatever, all these other light bulbs are just a scam anyways... but your oven... that’s a quality light bulb, my friends.
Early happy Thanksgiving to those of you whom have to celebrate early due to work schedules & travel.
Check the light at your relatives house - go ahead see if the light is burned out and for how long - and if not ... keep opening closing that oven door until your in laws have another reason not to like you - it’ll never burn out!
It either already has... or it won’t.
Just something completely pointless to think about this holiday season.
You’re welcome.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
