Suspect ID’d in murder

A man is wanted by the Sheriff’s Office in the death of a Cleveland County woman.

Last Friday, July 18, Tamia Logan’s body was found in the front yard of her home, located at 6920 Baker Dr., Apartment A-14.
In a statement released today by the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office, it stated, “The investigation into Ms. Logan’s death has spanned several counties and countless man-hours.”
On Wednesday, July 23, the Sheriff’s Office noted an arrest warrant was issued for Marlow Anthony Johnson, 37, of 809 Philips Dr., Kings Mountain, for the death of Logan.
The statement went on to say, “Johnson has been charged with First Degree Murder and should be considered armed and dangerous.”
The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone for assistance in locating him.
He was last seen driving a white 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis with large aftermarket rims displaying a North Carolina license plate LFA-4166.
