Search warrant leads to arrests, seizures of firearms and drugs

On Wednesday, the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at 415 Claxton Drive, Shelby, in response to a drug complaint and outstanding warrants.


During the Thanksgiving Eve operation, investigators located illegal narcotics and firearms inside the residence. Four individuals were taken into custody.


Kimberly Gardner, 46, of the address, was charged with three counts, which included Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Distribute Schedule II along with Sell/Deliver Schedule II and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Six grams of Methamphetamine and grams of Fentanyl were seized from Gardner.

 

Nicole Lynn Langley, 41, of the 800 block of Fourth St., Kings Mountain, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and five grams of Methamphetamine were seized.

 

Joseph Trevor Kale, 46, of Parwin Rd., Spartanburg, S.C., was charged with an Outstanding Order for Arrest – Driving While License Revoked in Polk County.

Jonathan LaVonne Nichols, 54, of the 800 block of Ivywood Dr., Shelby, was charged with two counts of Resisting, Delay, Obstruct and Possession of Methamphetamine. Illegal items seized from Nichols were one gram of Fentanyl and one gram of Methamphetamine.

 

The press releases concluded by stating, “Sheriff Alan Norman remains committed to investigating drug activity and removing dangerous narcotics from our community.”

The Sheriff’s Office also asks that anyone with information about drug-related crimes is encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division.
