The Dover Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to strengthening the Cleveland County community, announced today an update to its grant application deadlines to better support the growing number of nonprofit organizations applying for funding.

The Dover Foundation provides grants to nonprofit organizations that directly impact the lives of Cleveland County residents. Grant applications are reviewed four times each year, and nonprofit organizations may apply once per calendar year.

In response to a significant increase in applications, the Foundation is updating its grant cycle to ensure a fair and thorough review process. Beginning with the 2026 grant cycle, the new cutoff dates for grant submissions will be:

  • 1st Quarter: December 15, 2025

  • 2nd Quarter: March 15, 2026

  • 3rd Quarter: June 15, 2026

  • 4th Quarter: September 15, 2026

“These adjustments allow us to better manage the rising number of applications while continuing to give thoughtful consideration to each request,” said Amanda Gragg, Executive Director of the Dover Foundation. “Our goal remains to ensure that our resources have the greatest possible impact for Cleveland County residents.”

The updated dates can be found on the Dover Foundation website and within the grant platform.

For additional information, organizations may contact Amanda Gragg, Executive Director, at info@doverfdn.org.
