Cleveland County Schools and Gardner-Webb University Announce 2025 High School Football Jamboree date.

BOILING SPRINGS – Cleveland County Schools announced the 2025 High School Football Jamboree, scheduled for Friday, Aug. 8, at Spangler Stadium on the campus of Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, N.C.
The annual event is meant to bring together student-athletes, families, and the broader community for an evening of competitive high school football in a collegiate setting.
Cleveland County Schools partnered with Gardner-Webb University to host the event. University representatives recently met with district coaches and athletic staff to finalize planning efforts, ensuring a first-class experience for all participants.
“This event reflects the spirit of collaboration between our schools, local partners, and community supporters,” said David Pless, executive director of Auxiliary Services for Cleveland County Schools.
He continued, “We are proud to offer our students this unique opportunity to compete in a collegiate venue and thank Sharonview Federal Credit Union for their generous support.”

Gates Open at 5 p.m., and kickoff begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are not yet available but Cleveland County Schools said tickets will be available soon
The evening lineup starts with The North, Burns High School, taking on Corvian Community School at 6 p.m., followed by The Shelby Golden Lions vs. South Mecklenburg High School.
At 8 p.m., Kings Mountain will face off against Monroe High School, and The Crest Chargers at 9 p.m. against Myers Park High School to end the night.
